Krakow. Seminary of the Archidiocese

Seminary of the Archdiocese of Krakow, also known as the Metropolitan Seminary in Krakow, on Pidzamche Street. During World War II, Karol Wojtyła was among the first seminarists admitted to the clandestine studies that took place in the Bishop's Palace at the time.In 1945, he became a student of the Archdiocese Seminary, and less than a decade later he taught Catholic social ethics at the seminary. In 1991, he visited his former university as John Paul II.
