The Nativity surrounded by six musician angels (platying the harp, bassoon, zither, viola, drum and the "dulzaina", a type of clarinet, and a choir of child angels. The sculptures of the angels haven been produced recently by the japanese sculptor Etsuro Sotoo.Above the door is the Nativity: Josehp ptotects Mary and both of them adore Jesus, with the ox and the ass of popular tradition on either side. Around them are cherubs who gaze joyfully at the newborn babe. The star, whose comet tail emerges from the Nativity Scene, shines on high with all the strengh of Gaudi´s art.
