Monastery of Santa Teresa. Built for the Carmelite friars, it was opened on October 27, 1617,by Felipe III attending with all his court. The church of Latin cross, with ashlar stone facade with two Doric pilasters arquitrabadas, which have a triangular pediment. In the center, a semicircular niche with pediment topped by balls with the image of the Doctor of the Church. Above a window opens to brighten the high choir of the Church; on both sides, four recesses posters and Shield of the Dukes and the Carmelite Order. The transfer of the Blessed Sacrament Convent of Santa Teresa took place on October 28, 1618; with the Duke delivering the Community all the ornaments necessary for religious worship
