Guarda

Lots of opportunities for Hiking.
Different types of trails have their own marks. The regular trails are suitable for anyone and are marked by yellow signposts. White-red marks indicate mountain trails. Alpine trails are marked blue. These trails may include snow fields, glaciers and sections of climbing. A guide may be required here. Pink marks are being used for trails that have been prepared for walking in Winter time.
Hikers greet each other. If you want to greet like the local do, you would say "grüezi" (Swiss German), "bonjour" (French) or "buongiorno" (Italian), depending on the region you're hiking in.

If there aren't any that are downhill in both directions I'd have to pass. Great catch! V

Very interesting sign! I don't think any of them would be suitable for me ;-). V.
