The Academy of Architecture is a college of architecture, urban planning and landscape architecture, which was founded in 1908 by architecture society Architectura et Amicitia. She is now part of the Amsterdam School of the Arts is housed in a 17th-century building on Waterlooplein in Amsterdam.The Academy of Architecture is the only college in the Netherlands that the Master of Architecture, Urban Design and Landscape Architecture offers interdisciplinary. This combination puts the Academy of Architecture at home and abroad in a special position. The curriculum of the Master consists of an inner-school and extracurricular programs. Half of the study consists of design education, the other half of a relevant work experience through part-time employment. Part-time work and part-time study (competitor education) complement each other in the training of architects, urban designer or landscape architect.
