Undoubtedly, te towers de San Miguel de Morella are arguably the most spectacular set around the perimeter walls of Morella. Built in 1360 by Domingo Taravall, are named for its proximity to the Esgléssia de Sant Miquel de Morella and protect one of the main gateways to the town. Privileged witnesses of the history of Morella have seen frontline conflicts, assaults and bombings in the War of Succession and the Carlist Wars. A visit highly recommended.
