Antoni Serra i Fiter (1869-1932)
Painter and ceramicist, became the Modernism's ceramist par excellence. In carrying out his work, he had assistance from famous sculptors like Pau Gargallo or Ismael Smith. He set up a workshop in Poble Nou where he produced vases and vessels. One of his most outstanding works was done for the Lleó i Morera House, where he made the ceramic banisters and mosaics found in the dining room representing scenes from the countryside.
