Zafra. Plaza Grande

The name of the arcaded squares used to be "Mayor", but in Zafra being two in the center, they are differentiated by Grande and Chica. (Big and Small)
Plaza Grande has had different names in history:
In 1825 "Plaza del Rey" later following an order communicated to all locations of the country, was called "Constitution Square".In 1936 tere was put a marble tombstone with the name "Plaza José Antonio Primo de Rivera" (founder of the Spanish Falange) with three lamps that were lit around on holidays. With the emocracy, appeared one morning this tombstone it was founded destroyed and in 1986 the City Council decided to retain its old name "Plaza Grande"
