Remarkable temple with sumptuous aspect of collegiate church. It stands in the centre of the town. Its construction started at the end of the fourteenth century during the establishment of the Santiago knights in the town when Henry II approved the Order. The older reference dates from 1463, as the epitaph of Garci Martinez de Logroño says. The tower was built between 1749 and 1756 and was made by Juan Alfonso de Ladera and has a height of 64 metres. It starts from a classic opening that frames the entrante door of the temple. It is decorated with bricks. The first part reaches the bells body from the sixteenth century and it consists of stoned ashlar and brick. The second part is made of brick, stew mud and ceramics and decorated with Baroque motifs and two openings.
