Santa Maria Magdalena Church
The Madeleine Church was built in the early sixteenth century and its interior can be found an artistic whole Manueline style since it belongs to the period of Portuguese domination of Olivenza, incorporating elements of Mudejar, Gothic and Renaissance. The façade stands out especially your front door and inside are three naves supported by eight marble columns very peculiar. Baroque altarpiece of the main altar and walls covered in tiles that tell different religious episodes. Certainly the Church of the Madeleine is a work thoroughly check, with many quality details which led to be considered one of the most important monuments of Spain.
