Palacio de Samaniego

Samaniego Palace Hotel-Restaurant: officially opened as a Hotel-Restaurant in May 1997. Commonly known as “The Priest’s House”, the Samaniego Palace is a small palace from the XVII century. It looks seigniorial thanks to its masonry stone façade, where its founders’ coat of arms is displayed. Inside the palace, the detailed decoration fits perfectly with the modern cuisine of Chef Jon Ugalde. The excellent location of the beautiful village of Samaniego must also be mentioned, protected as it is by the natural barrier of Sierra de Toloño, one of the factors that make the surrounding countryside so enjoyable at any time of the year.
