The work on the fences and railings of Casa Vicens reproduces designs borrowed from nature, such as palm leaves or cobwebs, and mythological figures such as dragons that decorate the ends of the railings that protect the windows on the ground floor.The garden gate made from wrought iron by Joan Oñós and based on a clay model by sculptor Llorenç Matamala, the gate´s intricate design is based on a repetition of two plant patterns: palm tree leaves and marigolds.
