What you notice about St. Jakobus Catholic Church, is its lovely Tower with an onion dome.
The Tower Chapel is the oldest part of the Church, dating to the 10th century, although St. James itself, is from the 12th century. The 'Pigtail Helmut,', the Onion Dome was added to the romanesque Church tower in 1766. The Church was expanded in the early 1900's, but was nearly completely destroyed during the War in 1944. It was rebuilt and concescrated in 1955.
There are some old piece's to see in the Church, like the Pieta [age unknown], The Virgin and the Child about 1330, Crucifixion scene from 1420 and copies of the frescoes from 1390.
