La Fregeneda is a municipality in the Spanish province of Salamanca , in Castilla y León . It is part of the region of the abbacy .
The township is located at the confluence of the rivers Douro and Agueda , bordering Portugal . His Vega del Terron river dock and the called Arribes de Duero are two of the most attractive tourist sites within the Natural Park of Arribes del Duero .
