Astorga. Capilla de Santa Marta

Located in the immediacy of the Cathedral, which has been a canon parish and its rector, occupies the site that, according to tradition, was the home of Santa Marta . There are grounds for believing that there was one of the many monasteries that had Astorga in the Middle Ages. At his side are the walled cell which connected to the eighteenth century with the main chapel of the church, and the chapel of St. Stephen. was not know as the churches that preceded the current during the rectorship of diligent Canon Don Bartholomew Loredo, 1740, the factory was renovated the neighborhood of Astorga contributing to cover the works to be their patron.
