The Hermitage of the Virgen de la Luz is located on a hillock, possibly a former castro or place of primitive housing. A Portuguese tradition says that "before becoming a Hermitage it was a mosque, because there lived the Moors". It is the boundary that separates the villages of Moveros(Zamora) and Constantim (Portugal). Not only is line between municipalities, but also is the old border betseen the two countries.The line separates and identifies, but at the same time in this case becomes the meeting place.
