A trip to scenic Maasluis to attend an organ recital by Ton Koopman

Some shots made before and after an argan recital given by well known dutch orga player and conductor, Ton Koopman http://www.tonkoopman.nl/testframened.htm his website. He's a very busy man, still found some time to come to Maassluis and even to have a talk with some admirers afterwards.

Next recital in this series is on the 19th of july with Jaap Kroonenburg with an all Bach concert (Toccata & Fuga in d-moll !!!!!!!!!!!)

Organ dates from 1732, built by Rudolf Garrel. It was a gift to the church by Govert van Wijn, on the occasion of his 90th birthday. The instrument is considered as one of the best in Holland, known for its super sound and the many possibilities it has to interpret 'music from all ages'.

Sander is a fervent photographer. He was 'analogue', now he's completely 'digital'. Making good photos does not depend on the quality of the lens or film. Making as much photos as you can gives a far more better result. He likes to make photos next to the 'trodden paths'
Photo is out of focus, it just does not bother me at all!!!
