Tania Kross is a Curacao born opera singer, whose star is fast rising these days. She replaced diva Angela Gheorghiu at the Edison Gala in Amsterdam Concertgebouw on the 2nd of may 2005 Gheorghiu was not satisfied with her being placed on the second place, after Thomas Hampson, who received a lifetime award.
