Opening of Rotterdam beach along the Maas river

On Saturday 31st of May the new 'beach' alongside Maas river was opened, It's only 150 m long. Sand was put on the stones of the quay. It will stay there for the whole summer. Idea was copied from Paris, where last year a similar 'beach' was very popular. More info: http://www.waterlife-rotterdam.nl/
