These are some photos I took from the television coverage of the Bevrijdingsdagconcert, held in Amsterdam on the 5th of may 2003,
in a barge on Prinsengracht, commemorating our liberation from the German occupation, by the (then) allies !

Image-01.jpg You actually don't need to have a press card to make good photos of famous artists. Just sit and relax in front of your tv and make a photo when it seems the right moment. This photo of mine figured on the cover of the SENA artists magazine. 15000 copies !! Every Dutch artist is member of SENA (royalties). Janine liked this pic in particular, so she recommende me with the reaction of the magazine, who happens to be a famous (Dutch) pop singer of the seventies, Johnny Lion !!! Geachte , op Koninginnedag speelde Janine Jansen in een prachtig groen kleed . Ongelukkiglijk genoeg heb ik deze mooie beelden niet op video kunnen opnemen. Heeft U soms die opname wel , dan zou ik U willen vragen mij daaruit enkele foto's van haar te willen sturen,omdat ik haar wil schilderen . Ik schilder sedert 15 jaren aan 6 kunstacademies in Antwerpen . Ze krijgt het schilderij van mij cadeau . U kunt honderden schilderijen bekijken op mijn Blog dat als volgt bereikbaar is: 1)http://www.seniorennet.be 2) Daal in de linkse kolom af tot Blogs(nieuw) en klik daarop 3) In de groene introductie-pagina die verschijnt klik in de tweede linkse kolom bovenaan op 8 paintinghistory 4) dan komt U in mijn bladzijde en U kunt kiezen tussen reeds 37 onderwerpen. Hallo Joop, ik zag jou commentaar op mijn "snooker gallerij" nu pas, en kwam eens een kijkje nemen in deze gallerij. Zittend foto's maken van iets op TV zal voor vele mensen nogal raar lijken, maar ik denk dat wij bewijzen dat het niet enkel leuk is om doen als het buiten slecht weer is, maar zelfs deftige resultaten kan opleveren. Spijtig genoeg denk ik niet dat professionele snookerspelers als Ronny O'Sullivan, die geld met hopen verdienen, beroep zouden doen op een amateurfotograaf die enkele kiekjes van zijn TV heeft gemaakt. Als dit wel het gevan is, dan moet ik dringend een deftige TV kopen! ;-) Groetjes, Greg.

geweldig Joop! Hier schrijf je echt geschiedenis mee. Unieke beelden van Janine, en een paar van koningin Beatrix. Zelfs al zou dit concert zijn opgenomen dan nog blijven deze foto's actueel en voor het nageslacht van belang. Janine is echt de toekomst. Denk dat ze deze beelden zelf ook heel leuk zal vinden!
