Police prohibited to turn on the volume knob to the maximum, while on the bridge, afraid as they were that this might bring the bridge as a whole in an unwanted vibration. Erasmus bridge is known for its difficulties concerning vibrations. Shortly after the opening it had to be closed, due to cables swinging too much.
