The Warsaw Reformed Protestants registered their congregation in Warsaw in 1776 and built their first church in 1776 (today it houses the Warsaw Chamber Opera).
The construction of the new church (on the photo) began in October 1866. The building had been designed in the neo-gothic style by Adolf Loewe, a renowned Warsaw architect and a member of the congregation.
It was with the use of cast-iron, a very popular building material at the time.
Due to the enormous costs of the enterprise, the construction process lasted 14 years and the church was opened in November 1880.
