The central bronze doors in the front facade, were sculpted in 1990 by Luciano Minguzzi, one of the most renowned Italian sculptors.

Church Stella Maris, the Star of the Sea, is located in one of the most beautiful locations in Porto Cervo, dominating the Marina below.
It is a true masterpiece of contemporary sacred architecture.
It was built in 1968-69 in a Mediterranean style, to a design by the architect Michele Busiri Vici.
The land where the church stands was donated by H.H. the Prince Aga Khan, religious leader of the Ismaili Muslims and founder of the Costa Smeralda.
