Punta Palau Lighthouse (Faro di Punta Palau) is an active lighthouse built in the 1960s, in place of the previous one.
It is located on the northern extremity of a granite promontory.
It is 10 meters (33 ft) high and is completely automated, powered by a solar unit.
Across the Starit of Bonifacio, you can see a coast of the island of la Maddalena.
