On the left of the Franciscan monastery, there is a small garden, surrounded with the wall and tall arches.
The Cura Sanctuary (Sanctuary Nostra Senyora de Cura) is one of the most famous and popular sanctuaries in Mallorca.
It was erected in Mount Randa (Puig de Randa, 543 m above sea level and the highest point in central Mallorca as well as the sacred mountain),
near the cave where Blessed Ramon Llull, a theologian and philosopher, found illumination.
The monastery was built in the 1950s. at present, four brothers live there and administer the sanctuary, with the help of some volunteers and staff.
