The Cura Sanctuary (Sanctuary Nostra Senyora de Cura) is one of the most famous and popular sanctuaries in Mallorca.
It is a significant centre of Marian devotion.
A small statue of the Virgin de Cura in Gothic style, is made of sandstone and is dating from the early 16th century (prabably 1509 to 1517).
The Virgin is represented with the Child Jesus in one hand and a flower in the other.
The image of the Virgin Mary received a papal coronation in 1955. It is placed in the oratory of the church.
