The parish church in Montuïri is placed at Plaça Major, on a small hill in the very center of the medieval village.
It was constructed in the 14th century, and dedicated to Sant Bartomeu.
It is an impressive example of Gothic architecture, and is built on a plateau of stones.
The side wall has the category of main facade and main entrance to the church, with a portico from 1646, crowned by a medallion with the coat of arms of the town.
