The first church of St. James (Sant Jaume) was built in 14th century, but it partially collapsed in 1870, due to torrential rains and its poor condition.
The church that we can see today is the result of reconstruction, in neo-Gothic style and was consecrated in 1893.
At the top there is a small cross and the crest of the town of Alcúdia.
