The Boat-Like Pulpit

Warsaw, Poland

In one of Warsaw churches you can see this very unique and beautiful pulpit.
Church of St. Joseph of the Visitationists commonly known as the Visitants' Church built in 1664-1761.
The pulpit is work of Jan Jerzy Plersch (1704 or 1705 – 1 January 1774), Polish sculptor of German origin.

I had no idea from the thumb, it’s very artistic.

Wow! That is beautiful. The pulpit reminds me of the 1956 movie "Moby Dick" with Gregory Peck and Orson Wells is preaching from a boat shaped pulpit.
