Ruins of Bank of Poland (Bank Polski) building, constructed in 1907-1911.
During the Warsaw uprising of 1944 it was almost totally destroyed by German artillery, bombed and burnt out.
It remained, until the early 21stcentury, one of Warsaw’s longest lasting ruins and was partly reconstructed in 2012.
