Poor Windows

Warsaw, Poland

This tenement house was built in 1877-78 for Abram Wlodawer, a wealthy Jewish merchant.
Now it is the oldest tenement house in Wola district of Warsaw.
It survived the WW II and Warsaw Uprising, but did not the recent years, neglected and put in ruin.
The last tenants had to leave their flats in 2011 as it was too dangerous to stay in it. Since, the house has experienced several fires, probably by arson.

Another one with historical character, now an empty shell.

I agree with all of what Dan has said. Very lovely still. V

It is in sad shape, but it does yield an attractive image for people like me who like old, abandoned and decaying things. Great image of it. ~BV~
