The day starlings start singing on the birch outside my window, I know it's spring already :)
Starlings (Sturnus vulgaris) in Polish Szpak - spend winter in the southern and western Europe.

We get a ton of them too! But, they stay year round, pretty much here. Love this in B&W! Gives a great mood!

For me it's the red-winged blackbirds, killdeer and hummingbirds. I'm just so excited to be able to open the windows in MARCH (unheard of) and to hear all the birds singing! Love your little bird and the contrast and composition! Happy First Day of Spring!
