There are both ascent trails up to the crater rim seen on this photo:
The Marangu route trail from Kibo huts to Gilman's Point in the middle of the mountain and the Machame route trail to Stella Point more on the left, close to the white snow/glacier place.
Uhuru Peak, aka the summit is just over the snow spot.
