Guciów is one of the most picturesque villages in Roztocze. Formidable old forests all around, a gorge of the wild Wieprz river, are acknowledged to be national heritage. They are a part of the Roztocze National Park. Continental climate causes the highest ammount of sunny days in Poland happen right here, more than 100 days in a year. There is a private heritage park in Guciow - a rural farm, composed of a hut and two farm-buildings: a barn and a cow-shed with a garret. The hut and the barn are from 19-th century, the cow-shed was built in the early 20-th century. All the buildings are made of logs fitted up by dovetails, with thatched roofs with tips on roof hips and with bucks on ridge. In the hut and barn there are old chattels, tools, store utensils. In former pantry room there is in a unique way displayed an exhibition of minerals and fossils from the area between Wisła and Bug rivers. In the cow-shed a gallery is located: minerals, fosiils as well as masterworks of craftsmen from Roztocze region made of wood, stone, clay, metal and on canvas.

In the past a medieval castle was situated on a hill south-east from the farm. During archeological sounding excavations nearby, an evidence was found of existing ramparts and wooden fortification of interlayer and box construction. There were found as well some fragments of clay utensils, whorls of stone, fragments of iron tools (knives, fittings, keys, spurs), bones of animals, carvings of clay, flint hatchets, iron arrow-heads, finery and the like.
