The stones are incredibly well preserved for some that are around the 150 year old mark. It's odd that there are prominent given names but no surnames or dates for the childrens' ones, which I suspect have been dislodged by snow and ice over the years.

there's a sense of bleak sadness here...the forlorn and abandoned appearance fits with the scenes you have shown from urban Rochester..
