Great find and fabulous picture of this decrepit old building that is still attractive in its own way. ~BV~

An old building with character and most likely some history. An interesting combination of cinder blocks and rock work for the foundation. Wonderful detail and soft lighting in this beautiful capture. Old buildings like this are some of my favorite subjects for oil paintings. VV

There is something about rural decaying buildings that I really enjoy. Circle of life time of thing. This is a lovely capture.

We perceive rural decay as picturesque. Your images of urban decay are a lot more unsettling. Both types are interesting.

An excellent composition. It would also make for a fine monochrome image ~V~

A great find. Really like the detail, textures and the bits of red paint remaining on the barn. "V"

What an amazing subject bringing forth thoughts of many days of hard work.
To me very complex divisions with a center, sky, trees, grass and red barn.
It makes my eyes race around the scene and land back on the amazing focal point.

Always makes me sad. What a cool old place, though. I bet they used it as a out building for many many years, even after it started to fall down. V

What a great subject and the clarity really gives me a good sense of the aging textures.

Or, as the real estate agent would have it, "Put your own mark on this picturesque country cottage by doing it up YOUR way! There are plenty of opportunities for motivated purchasers to touch up a few bits which are in need of a touch of TLC, and make this truly YOUR house and home! Great, tranquil views across the countryside. First to see will buy!" Enquiries to 123 Money Pit Drive, Desolation Junction, NY.

Sad to see abandoned buildings like this out in the country, too. V.

potent, and poignant too...whether old age or changing priorities left this to structure decline, it is still a tired memorial to bygone dreams and ways of life..
