I think these shoes are a kind of message since you see them hanging in a lot of cities. That broken window with the dirty glass and the snow make this photo strong.

Ah, the proverbial shoes on the phone lines. Every city has some. They say it marks a drug house, but we did this as kids, just messing around with old shoes and seeing who could get them to stick. V
