These long exposures of water you do in B&W work so well. Great photo and a really nice composition. Vote.

What a trip! The scene is so surreal. Could almost be IR.

Wow, this is really great. Love the contrasts, but only in the tones, but of rigidity and movement. Great perspective and I like the gulls. Certainly one of your best! "V"

The combination of the tack sharp pier and the milky water is superb.
Helen Betts15-May-2016 06:25
Moody capture of this interesting scene, a pier that doesn't appear to be attached to anything. The long exposure makes for some lovely water, too. V.

Outstanding perspective and glorious b&w tones!

Absolutely phenomenal Julie! Very dramatic sky and just the perfect amount of motion blur. I also like the placement of the dock or whatever it is in the center really emphasizes its isolation. ~BV~

A pier to nowhere.
Great stuff; aligning the vanishing perspective of the line of poles directly with the horizon was an excellent choice. Both sky and water grab the eye.

better watch that first step Julie...engaging perspective and scrumptious tones..
