That worried expression and the slight blur really says it all. Very well conceived and executed shot, Julie. ~V~

Such a feeling of loneliness. Fantastic emotional draw. V

Amazingly beautiful selected focus in this sadly expressive capture. Such a feeling of isolation while surrounded by the decorations and lighting of this street. You shallow depth of field worked beautifully to capture the effect and mood you wanted. A great decision to go with black and white as I think color would have muted the visual and emotional impact. VVV

A rainy night, bright city lights but the light in his eyes is gone. There is hopelessness walking. Brilliant candid. Very strong photograph. Big vote.

Amazing, such a brightly decorated street, yet only one unhappy looking person out walking. Superb street capture, Julie. V.

Great image of this night scene. The man with a somehow sad expression is a wonderful bonus. V!

excellent shot, love the facial expression and the dof with the touch of blur

looks a cold and wet night, testing conditions reflected in the grim set face..

The conflict between the festive decorations and the expression on the person's face adds a dramatic tension to the image. Black and white was the perfect choice for the presentation. V

A night scene that is perfectly realized ~V~
