Under surveillance, probably by one of those 1.3 megapixel Kodaks from so long ago.
This reminds me a bit of the poem Ozymandias. Doubtless when that sign went up it was assumed that Kodak and its parking lot full of workers would have endured for the ages. What's annoying is that senior management must have seen the signs years beforehand. However doing anything about it (in this case accepting the inevitable and investing HARD in digital technology) would have meant thinking in 10, 15 year timeframes, compromising short term results by increased R&D expense and cannibalising film sales, and being prepared for the yields to be reaped only years down the track when someone else is CEO. Instead it's easier to desperately cling to the old model and squeeze every last buck out of it and leave the crash to be your successor's problem. And the result of that... we see here.

Is there anyone who thought it would ever end. Fantastic commentary on our times.

Great shot and the low perspective and black and white rendering work really well together here. V

Strong image with the empty decaying parking lot and booth. The sign harks back to better days. "V"

Great vantage point for this shot. Love those cracks.

An ironic sign given the state of affairs of Kodak and its parking lot. A strong statement in B&W. V.
