Thank You! great pics. My Great Grandfather Starkweather was here and Died here in 1930 a good 40 years before I was born. I'm Not sure which building he would have been, but it was fantastic seeing photos.

I have recently been thinking about Iola. I was a patient there in 1960. I was 6 years old. The pictures startled me. I remember each floor and most of the rooms of the children's building. I am gathering my thoughts and memories to write about the experience. My little brother and my mother were also there for about a year. I remember prisoner escapes the beheading of chickens which were raised on the grounds for food. Thanks for the pictures.
