Dawn At Oliver's Castle

Devizes, Wiltshire

Oliver's Castle is near the site of the Battle of Roundway where in 1643 the Royalists chased the Parliamentarians
over the downland until they pushed them over the edge at Roundway Hill causing much bloodshed and loss of life.

From my Skies gallery.

I was having a lay in on Saturday,

after the bolier was repaired

LOL@Bev!
Nice misty layered foreground to background as well as the good sky. Can't see a castle tho... :)

A beautiful dawn with the tree on the left extending a branch, a hand, to welcome it.
