Frosty Morning Oaks

Thanks to Stewart Mitchell, I have seen the light and accept
that I have to carry a tripod to get some shots that would otherwise not work or be second rate.
And the flexibility it gives you on ISO and shutter speed is a joy!

Beautiful composition. So much detail too. You'll get muscles on your muscles carrying the tripod so it'll be doubly worth it :)

Excellent shot! I have a hard time dragging around a tripod but I probably should! This is amazing!

I'm rarely shooting with a tripod. But they are a great tool A fine shot John.

Stunning image John, the colour contrast, between the foliage and the subtle blues and mauves in the sky, really works for me. ~V~

Beautiful scene and well done. What a heavy frost!
I, too, am so stubborn about the tripod--I find it restricting like snowshoes on my feet or flippers in the water. One day I'll learn.
