As I was driving near Tuba City, AZ my Garmin Desert Southwest GPS map showed me a feature called Balanced Rock out in the absolute middle of nowhere. Of course, I had to check it out. And sure enough, a few miles along some lonely dirt roads brought me to this place, where I spent the night and photographed it in the morning. It's about 8' tall with a 5' diameter (+/-).
