Evening light at the Hokianga Harbour entrance, Northland, New Zealand

The setting sun sinks into the Tasman Sea and washes a warm glow over the sand hills on the other side. It would also be casting an even hotter glow on the Australian outback. Getting this shot meant I was too late to get a site to stick my tent up on so I had to sleep in the back of the car. It really is a hard life sometimes. At least I managed to get a feed at the pub....and then I lost my cellphone.
