A nice calm autumn day at Lake Ruataniwha in the Mackenzie Basin in the middle of New Zealand's South Island. This lake is part of a network of lakes linked by a series of canals to feed the Waitaki hydro dams on the river of that name. I was in a bit of a panic while I was taking this as I had lost all my filters and thought I had left them at my last stop. I nearly threw everything in the lake and renew my interest in my model railway. Doubled back for 20 minutes and then found the filters safely in my back pack....where they had been all the time. I am so dumb.
