Panorama of snow on the hills around Lyttelton Harbour Basin, Canterbury, New Zealand

Looks like another dump of snow happening at Governors Bay at the head of the harbour where we live. I was on my way to work when I looked back and saw this different perspective on a very familiar scene so stopped to take a quick 'handheld' stitch. The road can be seen winding it's way round the hills and is a journey I may make up to several times a day when working. No traffic lights either. It took a bit longer than usual today. This spot is the halfway point.

A lovely depiction, almost monochrome but still with colour in the cold water.
Strange how a light powdering of snow can work such a transformation.
This is a handsome gallery, John.
