Autumn colours, Wairepo Arm, Lake Ruataniwha, Canterbury, New Zealand

A little south of Twizel the road runs past this scene on it's way to Omarama and all points south. The lake is part of the Waitaki hydro power scheme.

Beautiful John. The colour and reflection are superb. I don't think this could have existed years ago when I lived in Christchurch. I do miss the beautiful scenery .... nothing like it here in Australia.
