You can't stop in Nashville without experiencing the Opry. We saw the Friday night show, which was broadcast live on the radio. There were about 15 acts, over 2.5hrs, including live advertising by the announcers. The 15 acts included old favourites, like Porter Wagoner, Jean Sheppard, Connie Smith and Little Jimmy Dickens, along with some newcomers and other more recent chart-toppers like Diamond Rio. The acoustics at the Opry were fantastic.
