MTB wisdom

It starts with an uphill struggle, reaches a plateau, then goes downhill fast.
Life or my favourite bike ride?
The hill from our front door to the Elephant trees is about 1 1/2 miles long.
Some days it's very steep and I get up there in about 15 minutes.
Other days it's not so steep and takes 20 minutes. Funny that.

You should get together with Mr. Rutter and go on one of his long rides. But be careful, it sure takes it out of him! ;-) You guys have some fancy bikes.. all of ours need motors here. There not much exercise, but make quick work of a trip. Nice shot, love the view from there too.

Love this photo and the philosophizing that goes with it. What an amazing view you have out of your front door!

If only she didn't have to visit every rabbit hole it would be a good idea.
